1.
Strangest feeling I can’t describe, forced to face the terrors of the world outside. Back to the wall it’s every man for himself, if your life’s not on the line I promise it’s somebody else. Desperate times only strengthen the weak, can’t give into the struggle you’ll end up dead in the street. The human spirit only goes so far, Get fucking left in the dust or push on through scarred. No more lies there’s no American dream, reality is a nightmare life—ain’t all that it seems. Waging war on how things used to be, it only pulls us further into uncertainty. Our fight our plight continue to exist in spite—in spite of everyone in spite of anything that stands in my way.

Can’t close my eyes shook straight to the core, can’t shake the feeling I’m not alone anymore. Searched high and low for a moment of peace but I feel the target on my back (no relief). Can’t move forward with one foot in the past, the smallest things start to swarm; total mental collapse. The cruelest trick my mind can play, just one more hit and I fade away. These eyes ain’t what they used to be, losing faith in your reality. New scars I can’t explain all I remember was the pain. You think you’re better like it couldn’t be you? I fucking been there before, changed what I know to be true. The shadow paranoia casts, you can’t escape—you drown. Never thought that it’d come down to this, mental warfare it just persists. Playing for keeps when I knew the risks but I can’t believe I’d miss. We all make our beds now it’s time to lie, am I living right or am I living to die? Hard questions we have to face, my hands won’t stop shaking can’t tell what’s real or fake. Drain the pressure, full force my fractured mind. Fear of failure makes good on borrowed time.
3.
Set me up to fucking tear me down, I put my trust in you; what goes around comes around. Just you wait and see, karma so deadly. You left me with the bag. Vengeance thirsts from the powers that be, save your penance don’t need your fucking sympathy. Settle the score, debts only paid in blood. That’s what it is. there’s no compromise, nothing comes from your mouth but blue faced lies. Let me think you had my back, what’s worse? A victim to your curse. You bled me dry, debts paid in blood. There’s just no other way. Pull back. The hammer falls.
4.
I hear them loud and clear, echoes of hopes and dreams I’ll never see come to life. The thought creeps into my mind, I’ve wasted my time for far too long. I try to live like hate don’t hide in the heavy heart, I know I lied to myself. Just let me bleed.

Ash And Dust 03:37
Always in the wrong place at the right time, I never had that true peace of mind. Pulled in eighteen different directions my brain feels like a landmine. Everyday it’s living under the gun, too many heads in the sand scared of what’s to come. When society implodes and you can’t buy your way out, you’ll be the first to go. Have we lost control? Our leaders pay the price but your life’s the toll. Devoid of soul; they only sealed our fate, now time will show. World falls apart, chaos reigns. In no uncertain terms humanity lost the game. What can we do do when there’s no one to save? Our wealth and excess only dig our own graves. Will more ever be enough? This can’t wait—won’t be long til we’re ash and dust. What for? Life’s already tough. Lining your pockets as the masses’ rage erupts. Out of time, you can’t repent; save your prayers for when the last dollars spent. You don’t know god, that’s peace you’ll never find. Live with the pain you dealt—let guilt eat you alive. But heavy lies the crown, conscience weighs down. I promise nobody feels sorry for you now. Cant buy your life, not worth a dime. End of the line.
